Here's hoping you never need a surge suppressor, but if you do then this one is great for travelling being compact and collapsable and still offering a reasonable level of protection.

I recently returned from a Med cruise and used this surge protector on the cruise ship and also at the airport when I could find an outlet...Great Product..The prongs are retractable which is easy to transport with the laptop and protects the case for the laptop while traveling.

works great but the retractable prongs are the weak point. I travel with it all the time and it has protected my lap at least twice from power surges. Just have to be careful when inserting the prongs into the wall socket.

The product doesn't have any voltage compatability ratings on the product itself or accompanying literature that I could find. On the web site, however, it shows the voltage compatability at 120 VAC. The product should therefore not be used overseas in countries where the voltage is 220 VAC.

We have been using these on our computers for a couple of years. We use them not only on laptops and are really pleased.
