I expected 8 batteries in the package, not 4. September 2, 2010 Janet Laurell I have used these batteries before and have been pleased but was disappointed right away when I opened the package this time. When doing the search for the batteries on Amazon, the description reads:
Energizer Rechargeable AAA Cells, 4 Batteries Per Pack
$11.91 ($1.49/battery)
Since $11.91 divided by $1.49 is about 8, I expected to see 8 batteries, 2 packs of 4.
Unfortunately there were only 4 batteries, making them $2.98/battery. That's way more than I would choose to spend on batteries!
I am very disappointed in Amazon for misrepresenting.
A rechargeable 9V battery that lives up to its name July 18, 2010 Jason Liu (Toronto, Ontario Canada) This Energizer Rechargeable battery not only lives up to its name but exceeds its expectations despite the previous reviewer's uninformative piece. Although this battery is rated at only 150mAh, it actually produces 184mAh which is over 122% of the actual capacity claim from the manufacturer! This result has been obtained by a test done by Rechargeable-Battery-Review.com back in 2007. Energizer has now come up with a 175mAh version which has not only more capacity but works well with the Energizer Family Charger. I have used this product for my wireless Shure microphone and it is more than sufficient. Now that the 150mAh has a huge discount, one should pick up more of these. This product is highly recommended.
These are 2300 mAh not 2500 as shown in the photos above. July 8, 2010 Chartsurgeon I bought these for my digital camera. I was apprehensive at first because the last Energizer rechargeable batteries I bought didn't hold a charge well. So far, these are working great. Hundreds of photos taken after the first charge and they're still going strong. So far, so good.
Short lifespan June 12, 2010 Kreg A. Nederbrock (Boone, NC USA) These Energizers just don't last very many charge cycles. My other brand of rechargable NIMH batteries last and last. It has happened over several packs so I just don't buy them anymore. I figured they would be at least as good as the other name brands but they simply aren't.
Doesn't retain charge June 6, 2010 Arabic Learner (Phoenix AZ) Wow...These batteries are so bad they do not hold charge for more than an hour. In fact, one package stopped gaining power after a few attempts of trying to recharge.
Great concept, poor product. With the expense of these and the poor staying power, it is cheaper to go back to the standard batteries.
